On January 25, 1981, Oakland’s Rod Martin set a Super Bowl record with three interceptions. Also, in Super Bowl XVIII, Martin’s Raiders defeated Washington. Therefore, my 141st video features Super Bowl questions to him.

For the 1996 Oakland Raiders, Jeff Gossett was a punter, and Kenny Shedd was a wide receiver! Also, Gossett earned All-Pro and Pro Bowl selections in 1991. Currently, Barnes, Bogut, and Thompson play with the wonderful Warriors, but Bazemore plays with the Atlanta Hawks. Also, in today’s San Francisco Chronicle, there is an article about Thompson, entitled, “Dogged pursuit of his down time.” In addition, there are two Berkeley photos of Thompson and his English bulldog!

The U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team won two FIFA World Cups and four Olympics! Therefore, my 138th video features them.

Mike White was a fantastic football coach! In 1975, Mike was Cal’s head coach when his club shared the Pac-8 championship with UCLA. Also, White earned a Super Bowl ring when he was an assistant coach with the 1999 St. Louis Rams. Therefore, my 137th video features him.

Like Dwight Hicks, John Taylor attended New Jersey’s Pennsauken High School, which is near Philadelphia. When there were 34 seconds left in Super Bowl XXIII, San Francisco scored the game-winning points due to Taylor’s ten-yard, touchdown reception! Therefore, my 133rd video features John Taylor.

John “JT the Brick” Tournour is a superb sports talk radio host. For my 132nd video, I asked him a question about Pete Rose. As a matter of fact, John wrote a chapter about “Charlie Hustle” in his book, The Handoff.

My 129th video features the San Francisco Giants’ Grateful Dead Night! In this video, Moonalice sings, and Bill Walton, an NBA Hall of Famer, superbly speaks! In addition, the Giants’ Tim Flannery and his brother sang the “Star-Spangled Banner” with the Grateful Dead’s Bob Weir.
128. “Bud” Selig and Pete Rose
My 128th video features “Bud” Selig and Pete Rose! In the first part of the video, I asked Selig a question about Rose, which was filmed by Nicholas Ramos. In the second part of the video, I read two stanzas of my poem to Pete, which was filmed by Sheena Taylor.

Curt Schilling was a clutch pitcher! When the Philadelphia Phillies won the 1993 pennant, Curt was named the NLCS MVP. Also, when the Arizona Diamondbacks won the 2001 Fall Classic, Schilling and Randy Johnson shared the World Series MVP Award. In addition, the Boston Red Sox won two Fall Classics when Curt pitched for them in 2004 and 2007. Therefore, for my 126th video, I asked an educational question to his wife, Shonda Schilling.
