Eight Giants on the pennant-winning team were pitchers Atlee Hammaker, Don Robinson, and Dave Dravecky, center fielder Brett Butler, left fielder and NL MVP Kevin Mitchell, first baseman and NLCS MVP Will Clark, catcher Terry Kennedy, and second baseman Robby Thompson.
