444. Rawlings’ Dave Fahrney and Jim Hughes
Not only were Willie Mays and Mike Schmidt awesome hitters, but they were also dynamic defenders! As a matter of fact, they each earned a record number of Rawlings Gold Glove awards. For outfielders, Willie Mays won an MLB-record 12 (consecutive) Gold Gloves. For third basemen, Mike Schmidt won an NL-record 10 Gold Gloves.
