From 1987 through 1989, Dave Dravecky and Mike LaCoss were teammates on the San Francisco Giants! Therefore, my 178th video features them.
Not only did Reggie Jackson attend Pennsylvania’s Cheltenham High School, but also he helped the A’s win three Fall Classics! So, my 177th video features him.
Recently, Richmond’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Junior Park was renovated, so a ceremony was held. Fortunately, Shooty Babitt was the emcee! Therefore, my 175th video features him.
In the 1970s, John “Blue Moon” Odom was a fantastic pitcher for the A’s when they won three Fall Classics in a row! So, my 174th video features him.
During the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Team USA featured Coach Klinsmann and Chris Wondolowski! In 1990, Germany featured Klinsmann when they won the World Cup. Also, Wondolowski grew up in the Bay Area. Therefore, my 173rd video features them.
Both Bay Area baseball teams have honored the band, Journey! In the 2010 playoffs, due to Ashkon Davaran’s video, Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin'” became the theme song of the Giants. Also, in 2014, Journey’s Jonathan Cain and Neal Schon performed the national anthem at an A’s game, which is my 172nd video.
For my 171st video, Bob Weir sings “Not Fade Away,” which is a song that has been sung by many bands! Recently, Bob Weir and other marvelous musicians celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Grateful Dead by performing three concerts at Soldier Field, which is the home of the Chicago Bears.
My 170th video features Bob Weir’s “Sugar Magnolia,” which was one of Bill Graham’s favorite Grateful Dead songs! As a matter of fact, the San Francisco Giants host an annual Bill Graham Tribute Night. Also, New York was the birthplace for the Giants, Bill Graham, and Mickey Hart.
My 169th video features Bob Weir’s “Jack Straw.” This superb song was written by Robert Hunter. As a matter of fact, Hunter was recently inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Also, Bob Weir and other Grateful Dead members just played at Levi’s Stadium, which is the home of the San Francisco 49ers!
