Andrew McCutchen didn’t take long to win over Giants fans.
At Saturday’s FanFest at AT&T Park, a fan asked a panel of Giants where they get most fired up to play on the road, and McCutchen didn’t think twice.
“Somebody I want to stick it to every time I get fired up … is the Dodgers,” said McCutchen, prompting a roar from several hundred fans who broke into a “beat L.A.” chant.

In 1986, when Harriton High School senior Paul Auday, an all-state soccer player that fall, was reading a couple of soccer articles in the Main Line Times, he noticed that another player was incorrectly listed as Harriton’s leading scorer.
Auday, who led the Del-Val League that fall in scoring with 14 goals, led Harriton that fall with 20 goals scored for the Rams, and his mother, Judith, wanted him to report the mistake…

Since 1988 Phil Pritchard has terrfically taken care of the National Hockey League’s Stanley Cup — he is known as the “Keeper of the Cup.” Therefore, my 487th video features him!
Not only did NHL left winger Adam Graves help the 1989-1990 Edmonton Oilers and the 1993-1994 New York Rangers win the Stanley Cup, but also he played with the San Jose Sharks in his final two regular seasons: 2001-2002 and 2002-2003! Thanks to Isabella Marchionda for filming my poem about him.
The Seva Foundation is an outstanding eye care organization that’s led by Larry Brilliant, Wavy Gravy, Tamra Klamner, and Peter Lull! Five of the many marvelous musicians that have supported Seva are Bob Weir, Joan Osborne, Mickey Hart, Bonnie Raitt, and Jackson Browne. So, my 485th video features all of these incredible individuals in Sing Out for Seva.
On January 29, 1995, in Super Bowl XXIX, running back Ricky Watters helped the San Francisco 49ers beat the San Diego Chargers 49-26 when he tied a record for a single Super Bowl by scoring three touchdowns! In addition, while playing in the National Football League from 1995 through 2000, Ricky rushed for 1,000-plus yards in six consecutive regular seasons: three seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and then three seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. Therefore, my 484th video features a question to him.
Musician Chubby Checker grew up in Philadelphia! My 483rd video features Chubby Checker’s performance of “The Twist.” His version of this terrific tune became a hit song!
